About us

The managing director of the DBI-Virtuhcon GmbH is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Meyer – Professor of Energy Process Engineering and Thermal Waste Treatment and Director of the Institute of Energy Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering. He is an internationally renowned expert in the field of high-temperature conversion of coal, oil and natural gas as well as biomass. The company’s associates are leading experts in their respective scientific fields.

The close collaboration with the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, in particular with the Institute of Energy Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, enables the customer-specific performance of manifold experimental and analytical tasks to support and validate the various services.
